Here is the exact breakdown of how your links, tracking, and payouts are handled through our backend system.
1. Your Unique Tracking Link & Cookies When you join the partner program, an account is automatically created for you in our backend software, Systeme.io. This generates your unique Affiliate ID. When you share your specific tracking link, a cookie is placed on the user's browser. If that user buys access to Writers You Write, the system reads that cookie and permanently ties that customer to your account.
2. The Dashboard & Live Tracking You never have to guess how your links are performing. You have a live data feed. Simply log in to your account, go to Dashboard > Affiliate Dashboard. Here, you will see exactly how many clicks you have generated, how many leads have opted in, and how many active sales you have made. Your unique tracking link is also located at the bottom of this dashboard.
3. The Commission Math You earn a flat 60% commission on the $37 monthly subscription fee. Because this is a recurring membership, the system automatically credits your account with $22.20 every single month that your referred customer's payment successfully clears.
4. The 40-Day Clearing Period To protect the business against standard refund windows and credit card chargebacks, all affiliate commissions are subject to a strict 40-day clearing period. This means the commission you earn today will mature and become available for withdrawal 40 days from now.
5. How You Actually Get Paid Systeme.io handles the payouts automatically, but you must configure your settings to receive the money. Inside your dashboard, you must click on your Profile Settings and fill out your preferred payment method (PayPal or Bank Transfer) along with your basic tax details. Once your commissions clear the 40-day window, the system will automatically generate an invoice on your behalf and release the funds to your chosen account.
To protect the integrity of the Writers You Write brand and ensure all our partners are operating ethically, all affiliates must adhere to the following rules. By participating in this affiliate program and using your tracking link, you agree to these terms.
1. Absolutely No False Promises or Income Guarantees
You must market the program honestly. You are not permitted to make false claims, guarantee overnight success, or promise specific financial returns (e.g., "Make $10,000 your first week!"). Position Writers You Write for what it is: a resource cache and logistics framework that helps writers build the infrastructure to turn pro.
2. Zero Tolerance for Spam
You may only send emails to audiences that have explicitly opted in to hear from you (a legal mailing list). Absolutely no cold unsolicited emailing, spamming comment sections, or blasting unsolicited direct messages. If we receive spam complaints associated with your affiliate link, your account will be immediately terminated.
3. No Brand Keyword Bidding (PPC Restrictions)
You are welcome to run paid ads (Facebook, TikTok, Google Search, etc.) to promote your link, but you may not bid on our branded keywords. This includes bidding on terms like "Writers You Write", "Writers You Write course", "Writers You Write review", or my name. You must add these terms as negative keywords in your ad campaigns. We do not compete with our own affiliates for brand search traffic.
4. Do Not Impersonate the Brand
Do not set up social media accounts, websites, or domains that look like they are the official Writers You Write brand. You must clearly present yourself as an affiliate, partner, or reviewer of the product.
5. No Self-Referrals or Rebates
You cannot use your own affiliate link to purchase access to the cache for yourself, nor can you offer cash rebates or kickbacks to people as an incentive to use your link.
6. Right to Terminate and Void Commissions
We reserve the right to review your promotional methods at any time. If you violate any of the rules listed above, we maintain the absolute right to instantly terminate your affiliate account without warning. If your account is terminated for violating these terms, you will be permanently banned from the program and any pending or future commissions will be forfeited.
7. Affiliate Transparency for all partners
Advertising regulators (like the FTC in the US and the ASA in the UK) require that any affiliate link is clearly disclosed to the consumer before they click it. Therefore, you must include "#ad" or a clear statement like "I may earn a commission if you click this link" in your social media posts or emails
